Under the direction of Lead Quality Assurance Analyst or designated manager, contribute to growth of the organization by testing all software based solutions. Responsible for knowing and understanding the software being tested. Responsible for ensuring functionality by utilizing tools to test performance, reliability, detect bugs, errors and any other failures.


Perform end user testing of all software developed prior to production.


Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers.


Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, or content.


Install and configure software production environments to allow testing of software performance.


Coordinate user or third party testing.


Assist field customer support by reproducing failures and creating new bugs for the development team.


Requirements:


Minimum 1-2 years of job related or other U-Haul experience.


Must possess a strong interest in technology and its advancement. Must be an effective and tactful communicator; verbal, written and interpersonal.


Must possess a high level of customer service.


Must be able to handle multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail.


Must have the ability to work independently or in a team and interact successfully with project staff.


Must be proficient with the use of Personal Computers, Laptops, Tablet Computers and Smart Phones.




Education/Training:


Associate degree in Computer Science, IT, Mathematics, Engineering or the equivalent in experience.

Since 1945, U-Haul has been serving do-it-yourself movers and their households. Like many other successful ventures, the concept for U-Haul was generated out of need. After World War II, there existed the widespread need for do-it-yourself moving equipment that would be available on a one-way, nationwide basis. U-Haul co-founders L.S. "Sam" Shoen and his wife, Anna Mary Carty Shoen, recognized that need and acted upon it. Their visionary approach spread the cost of ownership among many users, facilitating the mobility of the populations of the U.S. and Canada. The covered wagon of the pioneers morphed into orange U-Haul trailers. In the process, an industry was born.
